Any real life experience of the Minuendo ear plugs?

Post by AlasdairEaston »

Hi all. I'm looking to upgrade my hearing protection. Has anyone had any experience using the Minuendo ones reviewed (positively) here?

At the moment I have some basic foam ones by Etymotic. They've taken a beating and sometimes they're not quite enough for really loud gigs and much-much-too-loud rehearsals and jams.

Cheers
Alasdair.

At that price, I'd pay a little more and get custom moulded ACS Pro 17. Well known and loved - and *so* comfortable.

I had a pair. I liked them until one of them broke - best to care good care of them. I'm debating ordering another pair.

Thanks, the ACS ones were my front-runners but I heard the lead time was a couple of months. I started scouting around for a cheap and cheerful stop-gap and somehow ended up looking at those Minuendos.

Good to hear real-life positives about the ACS ones though.

Cheers,
Alasdair.

If you don't want custom moulded ones then the ACS Pacatos are very cheap at the moment. I've been happy with mine.

Thanks James. You're not wrong about the price! Trusted brand too. Trouble is I usually need "large" ear buds to seal my ears and these ones only seem to come in one size, being "medium/large". At that price though, I might take a gamble.

Cheers,
Alasdair.
