Hi all,
I really want to know what microphone this is. Based on a the emblem/logo I assumed it would be a Neumann or a telefunken. The top of the basket/grill is not metal but plastic it seems. And telefunken don’t do a black microphone with this part in plastic from what I can see.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.
Thanks

What microphone is this?

I'm afraid your photo links don't work.
This forum doesn't host photos so you'll need to host them somewhere else (imgur for example) and link to them here.

Unfortunately, the image site you've used to put the images is one that has historically been used by spammers/trolls and the URLs are automatically disabled by the forum software as a result.
When I approved your post the links were working but obviously the filter kicks in after the approval process, sorry about that.
If you upload your images to another site (imgur.com or similar) then submit another post with those links in, we'll replace the broken links above!

Pictures in focus of the badge would help! Those with the badge in it are so blurred you can't see anything important.
A lot of mic makers (especially clone makers) use Neumann-style angles square badges, so unless you can read it, it could be from one of maybe 20+ mic makers.
The shock mount looks different to the standard Neumann or Telefunken shock mounts.
The badge looks to me to be red. Which if a Neumann, means a TLM mic, and the mic shape isn't like any TLM models I know of.

Reliably fallible.

Looks like one of the many clones made from Chinese parts. Lots use diamond badges, but the shockmount sets it apart from many. I had a quick rummage but nothing seemed a perfect match.

Re: What microphone is this?
It could perhaps be a Telefunken TF47, though the shockmount doesn't look right. Inasmuch as I can tell from the photos it's probably a valve mic as it looks as though the connector is a locking one rather than an XLR.

There are a lot of mics using that body style. The Telefunken has a more traditional cats-cradle shockmount, but Vanguard use a similar C-style shockmount and the same body/grille shape.... but none of their mics are black.

Thanks all for the replies. I found a (slightly) better screenshot. I don’t recognise the logo/branding.

Re: What microphone is this?
I was wondering if that could be the CAD logo? It isn't quite the same as the current logo but they've been making that style of mic for quite a while so it may be an earlier version.

Finally found a clear picture of the badge. But still have absolutely no idea.
