Mainstage 3 - volume/expression pedal

Hi all,

Using Yamaha expression pedal through Yamaha MODX8 into Mainstage 3. The pedal controls volume for all patches except a couple of tremolo string patches. Is there a way of changing this?

It doesn’t seem to be affecting any other parameter on that patch

More info - I've realised that it's only the Studio Strings instrument which doesn't respond to the volume/expression pedal. Does this need to be mapped somehow within MainStage for this instrument? Can't find a way to do that.

I can't help directly, as I don't use any of that stuff, but typically instrument patches have some sort of modulation system, and you will need to assign expression pedal to a volume control somewhere - I doubt this is anything to do with Mainstage itself.
