I would like to use a hardware effect with my DAW (Reaper). I want to send a stereo signal from the DAW, through the effect and back into the DAW.
It seems that to do this I need to use four of the MR18's channels, for example channels 1/2 as a USB return, carrying the dry signal from my DAW (which I then send to Bus 1/2, and on to Aux 1/2 and out to the effect), then channels 3/4 to receive the return signal back from the effect.
Is there any way to map the USB return directly Aux 1/2, so I can free up channels 1/2 for other inputs? Or any other approach that would allow me to optimise the number of channels I'm using?
