AKG P120 Condenser mic causing huge noise

Hello all, I am having trouble with a newly bought WKG P120. The mic is sending a huge and weird windy noise to the mixer.
The setup I am using goes like this --> Mic -> Live Mixer -> Headphones & Audio Interface. The problem is not with the cables or mixer.
I just bought this mic yesterday. Is it because of humidity or is the mic damaged? I don't have the necessary knowledge about condenser microphones. It's the first time I bought one and it turned out like this. Please help me

If that's a new mic it's seriously broken. Return for refund or replacement.

If it's a second-hand mic.... you now know why they were selling it. Return for a refund.

The rustling and crackling sound is indicative of a contaminated capsule of defective impedance converter circuitry.

It might recover temporarily if you dry it out, but it won't be a lasting fix. Ditch it and get something that works.

Very true James although I do like the look of the Rode Signature NT1 in the May issue?
