A 30 year progression

I mentioned somewhere that I was revising a very old composition and still had the original so would put both up, well I also found an 'intermediate' version so I've posted that as well :)
it's on bandcamp of course, and here.

Seemingly no longer an 'elderly'.
Now a 'Senior'. Is that promotion?

That was a very worthwhile exercise Will. For me, the third one really has so much more richness of tones - its a very clear demo of 24 bit / 48k and it's benefits. I remember eschewing that back when it was relatively new for home studio DAWs to have 24 bit capability, stupidly thinking that CDs were at 16 bit and 41k - so why was it even worth sampling any higher. That is until I got it as standard part of my DAW and tried it out. Every decade is a school decade - right?

Thanks Adrian.
To be fair, although the earlier versions were recorded as 16 bit, the SY22 was lower resolution. I thought it was 14 bit, but looking it up on-line it seems it was only 12 bit :o .

I don't remember what I used to record the second version, but it wouldn't have been of the same quality as my current kit.
