Hello Forum users.
SOS needs a photograph of a TEAC A-3340S that's not under copyright. We have a feature we would like to use this on but our own archives can't turn up anything suitable.
Have you got a TEAC A-3340S ?

Re: Have you got a TEAC A-3340S
There are several for sale on eBay, is it not worth contacting the seller and asking if you can use the pic?
They are asking £2680 for this one!!!

I still have the photo as explained above, I don't still have a A3340S
How do I get the pic to you?

"The Best" piece of gear is subjective.

Good lord I know this doesn't help you for a photo but I used to own one of those along with the four channel external mixer that worked with it. I am amazed how much they go for now.
Lovely machine though, it was rock solid and incredibly even though when I owned it second hand it was probably 15 years old but teac still stocked a replacement capstan roller and vu meter light when I serviced it. Wow that brings back memories....

That's a bit of kite flying IMO, though they are a 'HiFi dealer' presumably catering for the audiophool community...

Still mourning the loss of my 'Jedi Poster" status
People often mistake me for a grown-up because of my age.

I had something rarer back in the day, the 4 track Dokorder. The one where the recorder sat flat and the meters were on a sort of separate meter bridge on a slim column. It was an impressive tool but the relays would sometimes stick and not make contact on record. So I thought, just the job for a squirt of WD40, and me, let no expense spared, showered the relays in a can full of the stuff.
That was the end of a beautiful romance, it never worked again

Thanks all for your replies.
I've got a nice picture now so job done - thanks. Interesting to read your comments though and certainly a trip down memory lane for many of you.
