Review questions: Antelope Audio Zen Quadro Synergy Core

Hi Sam,

Thank you for the excellent review! I'm keeping an eye on interfaces for the day I wake up and find my fine and trusty Steinberg UR28M has failed.

They're were two questions I was wondering about:

1) Headphones:
-Are the two headphones outputs independent so that different mixes could be routed to each? I think I understand the answer is yes ("99% ..., etc.) but I just wanted to be sure
-How powerful/loud is the headphone amp?

2) Do I understand that if I wanted "comfort verb" in the cans only while tracking (i.e., without having it printed), I'd have to physically reroute something to the second USB-C connection?

Thank you again!

PS: Re: the "Antelope Launcher software utility ... This doesn’t catapult kudu or hurl hartebeest". :bouncy::bouncy:

I did try to reply but the post got rejected as I included a link for a free voucher (thought I was being helpful, my bad) so I’ll try again without this

1) The headphone 1 is the same as the monitor output. Headphones 2 is a completely separate mix. Headphone output is strong and excellent quality

2) The reverb is only comfort, you can’t print with it. Initially I was disappointed but then I thought about it and as reverb is pretty much the last effect in the chain, odds are you would never want to print with reverb

I would wholeheartedly recommend the interface. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and the quality is excellent. I’d consider it a bargain at the price

I own the interface and have already accomplished this, so I am confident in what I'm saying: You can *indeed* print the reverb. You just have to use the loopback functionality of the interface. I do live-streams without a DAW (only using the control panel of the interface), and I can apply all the real-time effects (*including reverb*) to my live-streams.
