There's history here. Years ago, I sent my buddy Tjarko a vocal, no instruments, and he added the rest. Years later, he redid everything but the sax part, so I redid the vocal and rewrote the lyrics and here you have the reborn version.

Yes, I enjoyed that very much, if it's not finalised - perhaps a little dB or 2 on that main vox so you don't have to lean in quite so much. Certainly stands up well as is though. Well done!

Re: champagne
Enjoyed the guitar work- nice harmony on the descending riff.
There's a guitar (that sounds like it's going through a touch-wah?) panned to the right during the sax solo, around 3:15 , that's a little hard to hear. But it's fine if that's the way it's meant to be- I did hear it.
Nice job, sounds great.
Cubase, guitars.

Thanks all. I like it too. But I just wrote the words and sang it. Tjarko gave it the oomph. He has chops others dream of. Big arranging skills, plus tasty light touches. Notice how he feathered in a second layer of sax for a brief moment in the intro? I don't know if it's a game with him, but he p-l-a-y-s with stuff.
I bow down before your superior biscuitular capacity.
