Now I KNOW I shall get shot at but I wonder if these "posh" mics are such a good idea for speech in normal rooms and environments?
The issue here is that 23GirlAudioSOS doesn't want the mic too close - I guess for aesthetic reasons in the accompanying video.
True James but my mic is very unobtrusive being less than 9mm "head on" and you can get even wee'er ones. In any case, unless you are shooting a film and have to hide "the process" I don't think having a tiny mic in shot matters these days?

i can have it close, but not completely covering my mouth, if my my webcam cant see my mouth at all, then the new wacky face tracking softwear wont see my mouth and track my mouth.
face tracking in easy to grasp terms is like mimicking, if i smile the cartoon smiles, if i talk the cartoon copies my mouth movements via webcam, same for head turns etc

Can the Rx denoiser be used as a daw insert or do the vocal files have to be imported and processed in rx?

Good voice artists never have the mic in front of their mouth. They always have the mic to one side and they talk across the mic. This has the advantage that breath and plosives aren't directed into the mic which improves the sound but their mouth is actually still pretty close to the mic.
