Border of Love

The last tune I put out was May 2023. Not exactly a productive release schedule, I guess, but it is what it is. It takes me forever to figure stuff out.

That's great! Really well produced! I thought it had been a while since the last one :D

I can imagine listening to that at a southern border 'old town' bar at sunset over a pitcher of Margeuritas with Cicadas in the background. It put me right back at Old Town, San Diego - but without the Mariachi band

The only thing that keeps me from mariachi is lack of a band.

Sweet, very nice. IMHO, as well this could go on stage as is!

Entirely possible. My Spanish is just good enough to get me into trouble, but not good enough to solve problems.

The interwebs is amazing, isn't it? Two kids who haven't reached middle school who both play better than me.

Great tune, great production, astounding dance moves but best of all is the killer vox harmony arrangment. whew! Nice work.

*edit* and the wee Mariachi's! - this is what keeps me optimistic. Music is the original commons, the natural birth right and privilege of us all.

Death* to royalties and glory seekers!

*not actual death* for that comes most untimely to each of us anyway...

Why do bad things mostly seem to happen to people who light up a room when they enter it?

Thanks very much. I'll pass on what you said to Tjarko - he's what makes a good song better. 👍

I think sometimes a song is more than the sum of it's parts. I don't think it can be contrived, planned or maybe not even explained, it just happens. For me at least this is just one of those songs you connect with even if you can't explain why.

My only critique is that it ends too soon! :D

I can think of at least two reasons for that, and if we were in the same room, there'd be a third I could add to the list.
