My new TD2 arrived on Monday and I've just been copying a few wavemaps from my TD 1 (still for sale BTW ) and, despite V2.3 allowing import of 3rd party IMs and 'legacy' wavemaps they are showing as 'unrecognised file format'* on the TD 2's display. I'm assuming it's something I've done wrong during the transfer so I'll have another look later but but the company have been very good at resolving issues and adding user requested features in the past so if it's not my fault I'm sure it will be sorted.
One useful thing they have added in V2.7 is the ability to record and replay up to 90 secs of playing so you can tweak your settings without the native/acoustic sound of your guitar colouring what you are hearing. They are at pains to point out that it is not a fully functioning looper but who knows what they'll come up with in the future...
* TBH there is only one I would be bothered about losing as somehow I seem to have got that one just right first time.

Just in case you’re wondering if the compressor is uber-subtle or worrying if you’re losing the ability to differentiate in a simple A/B:
I did the update which appeared to go well but, despite everything looking as expected and GR showing a healthy cut I could hear no actual compression to the signal.
I did a factory reset (which, of course, wiped all my wavemaps) and restarted. TD2 sparked up with f/w v4.0 intact and, after restoring from the desktop app, am experiencing glorious actual gain reduction as advertised.
