Kal Ho Naa Ho (Tomorrow May Never Come)
With Warren Mendonsa on slide guitar… I'm thinking Warren's playing allowed this song to 'breathe'
Please do have a listen - I'm hoping the English lyrics will broaden the appeal of this song.

Truly heartfelt
And do I detect a David Gilmour influence on Warren Mendonsa's guitar work?

That's really nice- the guitars sound great.

You do indeed Martin - and accurately too. Warren starts playing at 2:10 at which point the complexion of the song changes significantly

Thank you gentlemen, for your very kind comments. The song was written by some friends of mine in India (Shankar Ehsaan and Loy) truly phenomenal musicians who are big in the Bollywood film industry.
It is originally a Hindi song. I always loved the melody and so I put English lyrics to it - which I very much hope work well.

The name Shankar evokes memories of the dearly departed Ananda Shankar I adore his fusion in the 70s of Moog Synths and Funk Drums played by American musicians, Indian percussion Indian Flute Acoustic Guitar Sitar played by Ananda Shankar and various Indian musicians.
