Classical guitar strings

Post by ef37a »

Does anyone know of a small business online who I can get these from?
I can and have purchased them from the almighty Amazon in the past but would like to give "the little guy" a go.

Not looking to save the last P and not in a blinding...

I use Stringsdirect.co.uk
Not sure how big or small they are, but their service has been grand for my needs.

The last set of classical guitar strings that I bought came from a small business selling via Ebay. However, that particular seller doesn't seem to be active any more although there are plenty of other alternatives.

I'm fairly sure I've used Strings Direct in the distant past too.

It is also worth saying that there are small traders who sell through Amazon if you click on the "New and Used" link.

I’ve had good service from Eagle Music over the years, afaik they are an independent UK music shop:

Bit late to the thread but +1 for Strings Direct. I've used them for years and never been let down.

Thank you Stuart but I have 3 sets of D'ad's hard tension on their way now from Eagle. They don't do Savarez though so I might try Strings Direct next time.

Which part of our armpit of the universe town do you live in? I am in NN5 back of the Sevens.
