I recently had to replace my internal HDD on my Mid 2015 MacBook pro as the last drive started to fail. I know I would have problems when getting back up and running in Logic.
I'm getting a lot of messages like this regarding components:
""MGS 1.2.component" cannot be
opened because the developer
cannot be verified.
macOS cannot verify that this app is free
from malware.
Safari downloaded this file on 15
May 2021."
I'm running Monterey 12.7.6
How can I put this right? I have hundreds of Plug ins and many are failing validation.

Thanks for your reply.
As I have so many component files is there a way I can quickly mark them all as ok?

Re: Logic plug ins not passing validation
I'd suggest taking a couple of failed plugins and re-installing them again. If that works you may just have to repeat the process for the others which I appreciate is not what you want to do. I don't know of a simple fix for this I'm afraid. Whenever I've installed new drives I've always taken a screenshot of all my apps and plugins first and then installed from scratch the latest or most appropriate versions for the operating system I'm using.
