Shipping gear to Saudi Arabia... any advice?

Post by hooty2 »

Hi... I chose this section as it does mention gear.
Does anyone have any advice or suggestions of reputable companies to send my ambient qp6200 boom pole and the associated fittings to Saudi Arabia.
I am currently sending a request to transline but that does seem like a rather large shipping company.
This is a bit out of my league at the moment.
The price offered is £600 less commission (BBlist)... So i have to factor that in.
Cheers and thanks in advance
Any help it would be appreciated

I know it's a done deal now, but would it have been possible to buy one in Saudi, use it and then sell it out there?

Reliably fallible.

I was thinking along similar lines that the would be purchaser would not be far off buying new themselves after all the import duties and taxes have been paid....considered the postage for the various pieces UPS was around 180. I will have a give a shout out to the BB list moderator ....the guy sent excellent support feedback to me and how they would help manage all the customs etc and much more useful (and calming info) and explained to me all the details.
One issue is the packaging as such a strange shape seems to present problems to most people or companies.
I think I'm going to realist and make some stipulations about where I will be selling it I often go to Northern Germany and to Austria so that might be worth putting on my sales ad
