As above, folks. I'm looking to hook up my THR 10 guitar amp to my mac mini running Logic. Please can someone give me a headsup how to connect the amp to my Scareltt? The THR10 has a USB output similar to a printer one but I don't know how to connect the Scarlet to this. Sorry for this insanely dim question but I'm a bit stuck and would be grateful for any help you can give me
The USB is to connect the THR to a computer and doesn't need an audio interface as it has one built in. If you want to use your Scarlett just connect the amp to the Scarlett using the headphone output on the amp to ¼" line input(s) on the interface. For this you'll need either a 3.5mm TRS to ¼" TS summing cable or a 3.5mm TRS to 2 x ¼" TS cable if you want stereo (you could use a single ¼" from the cable for mono but some stereo fx won't work properly, others may not sound right summed to mono).
The Thr's USB cable-to-computer also lets you use the editor to access the FX in greater detail, so its well worth doing.
On a MAC you may be able to connect the THR & Scarlett to the computer at the same time as an aggregate audio. I dont have a MAC, its just somthing I heard.

You can set up aggregate devices on Mac OS, I've never found the need but I'm lucky to have a space where I can record electric guitars using a mic.
Sam, you should run them through an amp, otherwise they sound too twangy.
Thank you all very much for your help. I am off to use the USB cable to amp method. I was hesitant about plugging the amp straight into my computer but this sounds like a great feature. I'm very grateful for your help
