Soaring prices? WIN top gear/software with SOS Competitions

Post by Forum Admin »

Everyone is feeling the pinch, and that's before October UK energy skyrockets even more (similar story in many countries), so I'm just reminding all Forumites that every month SOS has up for grabs some great kit and/or software in its SOS Competitions

Most people dismiss competitions and never bother to enter; your loss. But your chances of winning a fabulous prize are exceptionally high, compared to any Lottery. If you knew how low the entry numbers typically are, in comparison to this website's visitor count for instance, you'd be in there like a shot!

Focusrite Clarett+ 2Pre with Clarett+ OctoPre bundle has just gone live today, so get entering. Dreaming up a tie-breaker isn't that hard and we don't have any pre-defined criteria for winning tie-breakers, merely that they stand out, maybe make us chuckle or agree with your suggestion...

So give it a try - what have you got to lose other than a modicum of your own time.

These competitions are genuine and well worth entering.

A few years ago I donated a Gefell M 930 set for a Sound On Sound competition and drove up to Edinburgh to present it to the winner in person.

That's what's known as "going the extra mile". :-) Commendable action, John.

It was good to meet the winner in person - but I combined it with a trip to meet my cousins in Edinburgh, who I had not seen for a few years, and make a weekend of it.

Isn't it called a local Council election? ie. May 1st - when people of Birmingham and Edinburgh can tell those in power just what they feel about rats the size of cats tearing apart bin bags! How is that ever in the interest of Public Health? DISGUSTING.
