hello all

ive got a question regarding amplitube5

when im using a single amp it still has a stereo channel in the mixer section

for the room mics

should i be using the waves s1 to monoize the said track

before i put it through the waves real adt plugin?

and if i dont use the s1 should the effect i do use after be stereo?

What do you plan to do with the original and ADT signals in terms of stereo panning (if any)?

If you put amplitude on a mono track, then the output will be mono regardless of any stereo functionality internally.

You’ve then got the option of duplicating the track and adding ADT on that in full wet mode, or you could set the ADT up as a send effect (full wet). I think the first option will give you better stereo positioning as the FX send tracks are normally stereo, but with a stereo combined panner instead of the standard balance panner, you can control the width of anADT send track.

Other methods are available.
