I need more LFO's for my Eurorack, you’d think there would be hundreds but no, and and as for voltage controlled ones, which I need, they are few and far between, this an area of the market that needs expanding.
I've got 16HP of space to use so size is an issue, I need multiple LFO's, Doepfer do three, but only one is voltage controllable, and it’s too big, there's Batumi of course but it's expensive, and the Behringer clone is just too disgusting to look at so that’s out.
There really isn’t that many more options, I may have to get non-voltage-controlled ones and just use some of my ordinary oscillators in LFO mode if I need voltage control, not an ideal situation, but that's it.
LFO shortage
Re: LFO shortage
Out of curiosity, and I do appreciate this doesn't address your problem, but what resources does your current setup offer in terms of oscillators, egs, LFOs etc?
As a comparison my hs deluxe gives me 6 oscillators each with 219 different waveforms, 10 LFOs, 10 EGs (and you can press either of these to swap roles if you really need to, because they are extremely configurable) , 2 noise generators, 2 ring mods, 6 effects independently, 2 x 32:32 virtual patch bays, audio in/out plus CV and gate etc. LFOs can act as up to 64 step sequencers as well.
The two dedicated delays are modulatable and go down to 1ms or so allowing karplus-strong string synthesis.
Plus FM, PWM, and various other "mutants" for 4 of the six oscs.
Oh, and four filters with 20 odd selectable models for 2 of these.
It feels to me I would need an awfully big modular setup to equal this, which is why I'm curious about your setup.

Re: LFO shortage
Thanks, Hydra is a good synth, but I can’t figure out how I’d use it to get the types of sounds I make, can you use it without the keyboard controlling it? also it hasn’t got patch points, I would find the menu difficult to use.
My set-up is very much an instrument designed specifically for me and my sounds, it has got a lot of random stuff in it, that is LFO hungry, it needs them for triggering and modulation. I have 10 analogue oscillators and two digital oscillators, 8 LFO’s, plus some oscillators can be switched to LFO mode.

Re: LFO shortage
Batumi is the first that comes to mind, https://xaocdevices.com/main/batumi/

Batumi came to mind too, but it's expensive, the Behringer clone is awful, wouldn’t entertain it.
That Zadar on first look I thought it had more than I need, but after listening to it, it could be useful!

[1] .... can you use it without the keyboard controlling it?
Ive seen youtubes of the Hydrasynth doing regenerative music . Ive not tried it myself.
[2] it hasn’t got patch points,
its got a mod matrix, which is as easy as poking the front panel and saying "That one goes to this one". Also its got volts & trigger i/o. Ive not explored that.
[3] I would find the menu difficult to use.
each to their own ! we are all differently inspired

[4] The Hydrasynth also has "init sound" which will rip out all the virtual patching, neatly place the patch cables where you expect them to be & set the knobs to default.
