bt my axe in/out goes up to 2048

I’m assuming you’re talking about your audio interface’s buffer settings. It shouldn’t make a difference to your renders.

Just be careful if you are using any external (out of the box) processing, in which case it might matter. You need to make sure your timing compensations are all set up correctly. If you are all in the box, it shouldn't make any difference.

Good advice there from Moroccomoose.
Most DAWs let you check and compensate for the extra latency when incorporating outboard hardware into your setup, but it's always worth checking that it's done it properly, since if not (sometimes audio interface drivers may not declare their latency accurately) you may be able to add a manual offset to get all your tracks lined up perfectly.
MIDI hardware can also add latency, especially if you're sending MIDI data from your DAW to external hardware synths/keyboards and then recording their audio output back into the DAW - this timing offset may need to be compensating for manually.
