Bluetooth Page Turner

Anyone had any experience with Bluetooth page turners ?

There seem to be so many I am looking for something to work with the app songbook pro..

Are they all equal ? I don't need anything other than a page turner ...

I use the Airturn https://www.airturn.com/collections/bl ... ls-remotes, including the Ped-Pro and BT500S-2. The Ped-Pro is silent and is probably my favourite of the two, but the BT500 is more like a guitar pedal action if that’s what you prefer.

Most chamber musicians I’ve come across use the Airturn pedals.

I use AirTurn pedals too when I need one. They just seem to work (with an iPad).

4 buttons I use as:

Previous page
Next page
Previous song in set
Next song in set.

iPad/songbook pro

I think I must have persuaded about 6 friends to buy these, wish I was on commission.

Hey shuffle, was reading that the pedal can be difficult to set up, did you find this to be the case. Sometimes the problem with things like this can be it does many things when you only want it to do one…

There is an app (simple or advanced mode) in which you select one of several presets, if memory serves it chooses between, “up, down, left, right” or, “space, enter, page up, page down” or the like and caters for connecting with devices that can’t assign trigger to outcome but SBP doesn’t have an issue with that so, in settings/footpedals, you:

* add trigger
* press button (SBP recognises)
* assign function
* repeat x3

done.

I don't know what combination of devices/software you're using?

I use a M-Vave Chocolate as a page-turner with forScore on an iPad with no problem.

Have been using Pageturn Duo 500 with my iPad and ForScore for a few years and not having any problems. Playing in a symphone orchestra it has to be, and is, silent. Only the blue Led always blinking is annoying -- a bit of gaffa tape solved that.

Recently I have acquired a no-name from Thomann, Thomann pageturn pedal, at about 1/4 price -- it works equally well in my experience.

Sorry, seem to have missed this, crazy month. If you’re still hitting a brick wall I’ll get back in a day or two and explore your setup and settings.

I'm trying to set up a cheap, AliExpress, BT pageturn pedal to control Loopy Pro on my iPhone. With a BT speaker it works well enough recording the guitar 'via the mic and replaying through the speaker while I solo live/acoustic over the loop. The problem I'm having is getting clean/accurate start/end points to the rhythm loop.

In my case the pedal is this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009 ... ry_from%3A

Connecting it up was simple but I'm struggling with the latency.
