Hello guys,
I'm looking for something that will separate tracks. I have use LALAL.AI to separate tracks and it works well.
However, I'm looking for something that can take a stereo mix that has drums, along with various percussion instruments. I would like to be able to stem each instrument from the stereo track.
Can anyone please recommend anything may do this (if it even exists)? Much appreciated.

This is one of those areas that's evolving very rapidly with new products arriving and existing ones being improved on a weekly basis.
But they all have limitations. Most will do a pretty decent job of splitting out drums, bass, lead vocals and 'other' - it's if you want to split out that 'other' stuff that things get more complex and the options narrow down.

One that does precisely what you ask does not exist, yet. But audiostrip.co.uk does a lot of that- for example separate BVs from lead vocals, separate drum instruments, separate piano and guitar. It's obviously using the extant algorithms but it is reasonably priced, reliable and easy to use. I often also use the UVR app to remove reverb and even delay/ echo from vocals.

Hey guys,
Thank you all for your time, and advice.
Very inciteful.
It's pretty amazing what these stem separaters can do right now.
I'll check into the Moise Pro as suggested as well.
Thanks again fellas. This is a great forum!

As has been said, this area is evolving very rapidly and the traditional music software people are often well behind the curve. Drum separation is an area that has received only a little attention from the AI crowd so that it is possible but not perfect.
In contrast, vocals can be separated almost perfectly from the backing track with the latest algorithms as quite a bit of programming attention has been focussed on this area.
As always, I would suggest grabbing the beta version of the Ultimate Vocal Remover and then digging around for the latest experimental add-ons. There is a 6 stem drum separation algorithm which I have used successfully. There is also a newer 5 stem drum separation algorithm which is supposedly better but I haven't tried it yet. These work best if you already have a drum only stem.
Here's a comparison of the various experimental models including the 6 stem model from aufr33 and Jaredou that I use.

I see that there is a commercial product at
https://rebeatapp.com/
I've no idea how good it is.

Hi James,
Appreciate the advice and info. I'll check out the Ultimate Vocal remover.
I have separated drum tracks from stereo mixes and then used a 5-6 stem separator to get toms, snare, kick and pies. Which is pretty amazing as well.
But I do not believe there has been anything developed as of yet, that will separate the drums from several percussion instruments. Which, is really asking AI do do something really incredible. But I do believe, it will happen.
Best.
