Sennheiser MKH 8018

Well, though not designed primarily for music recording, I was keen to try a bit in my recent testing of the new Sennheiser MKH 8018 stereo shotgun: tapping into that NPR Tiny Desk concert approach with their use of the MKH 418-S (OK, increasingly augmented with other mics over the years)! So there is a bit of indoor music recording included, although much of my testing is rather non-musical I must confess. I just listened to that demo yesterday.

I love the MKH mics. They're fantastic for film location work.
