Re: Name change
That seems like a good fit based on the stuff you've shared before.
And Mercury Sky will be the perfect name for your signature reverb pedal when it comes out too!

Re: Name change
Unless it connected with a significant change of style, I tend to regard name changes as potentially counter-productive.

Seemingly no longer an 'elderly'.
Now a 'Senior'. Is that promotion?

The days on Mercury are longer than the years which, combined with the elliptical orbit can make the sun seem to rise for a bit, then pause, then carry on to sunset. The Mercury sky is a bit werid
Have you checked all the associated stuff is available and untarnished [domain names etc ]

I have looked, all I can find is stuff to do with the planet Mercury.
I just haven’t liked the sound of my real name for ages, it sounds a bit too formal and boring.
Plus, there is a major style change on the album, it's more noisy than my previous ones, less compromises, it's still the usual mixed bag, but veering more towards pure noise.
It's audience will be small, it's the noise of Tramadol, and a fragmented and broken world in decline, and it's most probably my last album.

I’ll leave it to you Will to guess, and receive the prize of tea and Hobnobs next time you pop in.

Re: Name change
Relatively exciting update, and it makes me feel quite weird, Amoeba Records in San Francisco agreed to take my friends, and my albums, our collaborations too, and sell them, good news for both of us. He went there recently and had a chat with them, and that was that.
Not a life changing thing, but nice anyway, it just makes me feel quite strange to know that our music is sitting in a record shop somewhere in San Francisco.

I am like a ghost, a phantom, I pop up in places I never dreamt of, it’s like these things are written, destined, it will happen anyway.
I’ve always had this attitude throughout my whole life, just don’t try, it’s the worst thing you can do, if it’s meant to happen it will, you will have nothing to do with it.

Hi all, until the album is officially out, I can’t post a public link, but I'll pm those that bought my previous albums with a private link, I’ll post the link here for everyone when it’s finally released.
