Here is the response I received from them:

We regret to inform you that your release: xxxxxxxxxxx (5xxxxxx), has been disapproved by our moderation team for the following reason(s):

I don't have a clue what any of this means, this is a song I wrote and recorded, I'm baffled. Any help or insight would be most appreciated..

That must be frustrating, especially as they say they might not provide further details.

However, I guess that also means they might provide further details - so you might as well ask them.

One thing to check is that you didn’t accidentally upload a silent file, or a file just containing noise. Also that you uploaded the full length of the track, and not just a few seconds’ worth.

Other than those things, they may have done a copyright check. Does your track sound like anything else you recognise? You could try uploading to YouTube or Soundcloud to see if their algorithms kick in, though it can be a pain if they do!

The song doesn't sound like anything I've heard and there are no copyrighted samples....

I have reached out to them to explain what it all means. I know it's common for songs to be rejected and then it can just be a case of jumping through a few hoops, but quite honestly, I have no idea why it's been declined...

I will try and see if uploading it to YouTube flags any issues, but then I'm mindful of that causing any further issues

That's a thoroughly unhelpful message from them.
I assume there's no naughty words or references to specific brands or products?

Your release (5063812090855) has been disapproved on these grounds.

They appear to have just cut & pasted from their terms. Either you have produced something that appears to have breached all six broad categories, or they have effectively told you nothing.

It might be worth going back to them along the lines of... 'as I am certain that I have breached none of those terms it would be helpful if you clarified which of those you believe have been breached.'

They have claimed your work falls into one of those categories, but they certainly haven't demonstrated any breach in a way that would satisfy a decent contract lawyer or court of law.

There is a profound African saying, "A white man who cannot dance is a victimless crime, whereas a white man with a djembe drum ..."
