Hi, does anybody have a Syn-d-Kit circuit schematic or component list? It was a maplin produced kit, designed by Paul White and published in the Nov/85 edition of Electronics and Music Maker, available online on Mu:zines.
https://www.muzines.co.uk/articles/excl ... ation/9172
Problem is, the schematics came with the pcb kit, and were not published in the zine. Just found an semi-build PCB when clearing out my parents attic, but it's missing the ICs, and would love to get it working.
Will be grateful for any info. Even a photo of a populated PCB would help.
Thanks and Regards,

I've let PW know of your enquiry (he doesn't frequent the forums often) in case he can help...
EDIT: Apparently you've already been in touch and he doesn't have any of that material anymore so can't help.

Unfortunately the Maplin name has been sold to a completely different company so I'm not sure that they would still have any records.
If you really want to get it going you may have to reverse engineer a circuit diagram. Things like op-amps should be fairly obvious and it might be worth looking at PW's other designs from that time to see which chips he favoured.

I have just unearthed my Syn-D-Kit module from the loft. It is fully populated and i even have a hand written component list that was inside the enclosure i housed it in.
If you are sill interested i will take pics and post them.
