Audioscape Engineering reviews

Post by Watchmaker »

I'm so glad to see SOS reviewing Audioscape gear. I learned of them myself only a couple of years ago and seem to keep buying more gear from them. I now own one of their G Stereo buss compressor and the F and D variants of the 1176. All three have exceeded expectation. Great stuff. Both reviews I've read here match my experience with their products and I highly recommend them.

The down side to these reviews is that, in conjunction with them having created an EU purchasing portal, the lead times are getting quite long! Perhaps some unemployed Brit can apply for legal immigration status and get a job with them to reduce my wait time.

Thanks. Yeah, I've been genuinely impressed. Recently had their XL-305R reverb here too, which has been an absolute joy to play with.

I keep looking at that as well as the Teaching Machines Wellspring unit. I wish I lived somewhere where I could hear either of them. Too many toys, not enough money.

I've not used the Teaching Machines one, but the seem nice guys and I know Neil Rogers was impressed by it. The IGS Springtime is lovely too.

Great to hear consistent positive experiences with Audioscape gear. Sounds like their compressors deliver. Hopefully the growing demand shortens soon, even if longer lead times show how popular they’ve become.
