I'm a software engineer and we still have a lot of old backups (going on 20 years) on floppies. Therefore we all have USB floppy drives.
I can make you a few (why not have backups?) and post them. It won't be any trouble. My S2000 is in a box in the garage. Haven't used it in....10 years?
I'm late to this party but my S2000 floppy boots up fine if the disk is already insterted before power up. However, if I power up without it inserted, and then insert, the S2000 fails to boot up. The little green light that hunts for the disk is not responsive. So the only way to get this to boot is to already have the disk in the drive.
Is this a fault as surely if it was, the drive would either work or not? Very odd. Even stranger it boots fine from a floppy inserted when my iOmega Zip drive is connected
