I currently only have a small controller keyboard that’s usb only. I was just munching over my options to find the best solution in mentioning replacing this if needs be.

I am completely clear now, can resolve this myself no worries understanding the options and really appreciate the help as I’ve learnt some stuff too!

So i went ahead and bought them the kenton midi usb host device as recommended and great result as it solved the problem and sorted the issue with minimal fuss. Just the box, some cabling, small controller keyboard and sustain pedal!!!
