What Would You Do?
Re: What Would You Do?
"Experienced" just means people who've winged it before!

Re: What Would You Do?
Frank what styles of music do you make.
Here's what I'd do. I'd keep both.
Because I would make tracks on the macbook. Bring it into the KorgD-3200.
Threafter take the Korg round to musicians to play on the tracks I made.
Because I have a mix of sampled Acoustic instrument on my macbook alongisde Electronic on several tracks, I'd replace the sampled with musicians.

Why should I seek advice from experienced people when I can just wing it myself!
Thanks
Sometimes you have to have the confidence to trust your own judgement.
No matter how much experience you think people may have here, as you know, in music, it means nothing, ultimately, purely technical issues, maybe, but artistically, it’s up to you.

The OP was only asking for ideas/opinions. I agree with Arpy that ultimately you make your own decisions but asking the hive mind can throw up alternatives that one wouldn't have thought of alone and which may offer a better solution.
FWIW I would also use it as an alternative recording rig for remote recording and times when I don't want to do the whole 'studio' thing.

People often mistake me for a grown-up because of my age.
Re: What Would You Do?
Thanks a ton to all that gave me ideas.
I will keep it and record my practices and I will also, as Tea for Two noted, record tracks on it for mobile recording.
My son is an amazing guitarist and I could bring the Korg to his house and he could lay down some guitar tracks.
I can then take what he records and put it in Reaper to shape and tailor the sound.
Again thanks for the great ideas.
