Hey Bob, I love this and wanted to buy the track but for some reason it cannot be bought with a credit/debit card, only by paying (not via credit/debit) through paypal.

I've not had this with any other artist on Bandcamp and I'm really sorry but it rules out a purchase for me. Is this a regional thing, and is there any way to buy the track without having to do it with a paypal balance?

If not, then I'll sadly pass but it's a really nice track

Thanks Eddy.

I don't have control over that particular Bandcamp account, but I'll look into it and let you know if I can resolve it.

Thanks Bob. The good news is that I just bought something else on Bandcamp and it nudged me to buy Auroko also, as it was still in my cart from the last batch.

On this occasion I was able to opt out of paying using a paypal balance and select a credt/debit card, which I have duly done.

So I'm not enturely sure what's going on here. I think it's one of those grey patterns where by default paypal is trying to strongarm the customer into using their service and there may have been an escape tunnel I didnt see in the initial process.

I can confirm I've bought the track now using my card as per my preference and all is well... I'm, just not sure if it's paypal being delibrately misleading, whether I overlooked something, or something else altogether but it wasn't the usual process I get when buying stuff from Bandcamp, which I do a lot.

Glad to get the track though, very happy to punt some pennies in the direction of the artist and cheers for pointing us to it

Many thanks. Yes, I’ve never quite got my head around PayPal …… sort of like all the other things I’ve never quite got my head around.
