Just FYI to you all. I know I have a couple of those cheap old Japanese mic connectors in a junk tin somewhere. One is complete, one lacks the locking ring (but, "any port" what?)

CPC have them at a reasonable price...

Hi Sam. Dean has PM'ed me with a photo and that CPC connector looks pretty close. I had offered the old japanese mic connectors but cannot lay hands on them atmo! I am however sure they are four pin jobs but will keep looking.
