OK, I am looking for a producer. Recording whole potential CD with just acoustic and bits of percussions on laptop. Three songs here as taster... Feedback or proposals most welcome...
Thanks

For what it's worth, I've just finished work on my band Vrillion's EP, recorded live in a barn and produced in my little home studio - have a listen at http://www.myspace.com/vrillion. I've been doing this music production thing for a year or so, and I might almost have got it right for this one.

Oh, and it's melodic goth/metal symphonic pop rock stuff, in case you're worried about hearing yet more of whatever you've heard too much of recently!

We've just released a CD EP and also have the tracks available for download, so I guess this is as good a time as any to submit our MySpace link!

Nice idea. I don't like it either to do what everyone does, still ... it's good to have a common adress in the web nearly everyone can access easily.

Mine are

http://www.myspace.com/oceanbed
http://www.myspace.com/clyff

among others.

I've only got a myspace because everyone else does, there doesn't seem like much community or anything there, it's all just "Go to my Myspace!!!". I prefer using Soundcloud (link in sig!) but that's not what this thread is for.

Well, here we go. Like most people here and elsewhere, we struggle, work crazy hours, and in the end, it's born: our masterpiece, fruit of our emotional loins and hope but usually presented with false modesty as 'just a bit of fun' but really, really carrying the hope that everyone will eventually love our work, us, and remember us forever, when dead, gone rich and influential musicians and true artists....

Because of work commitments I am living away from the UK, in a quite apartment... so the recording of this new 'album' is acoustic and only using two guitars, bass, simple percussions (tambourine, shakers, and bongos), and, obviously, my voice. All the songs are new and mine.
Sure, since it's all acoustic, inevitably they all sound a bit 'bossa', but, as a songwriter I imagine them in my head as pop, some rock...

Here we go... Good listening, feedback much welcomed, negative if constructive... Ciao

I believed I posted in the wrong forum. Anyhow this is a Reggae Gospel I produced, arranged and composed for my daughter. She wrote the lyrics. It's called Trust In Him.

mmh not my website but a good friend of mine participates in a song contest called "Sound of Bamboo". it was a really big contest and now his band "The Amateurs" is in the final round against one german and one french band. i thought you might find it quite interesting ;) it's not an advert for them because now the jury will decide :) I really just wanted to call your attention on that.
