Where do i go to get my tracks recorded onto CD's with pressings, artwork, duplicated and put in record stores?

I won't pretend to know anything about how to do what you're asking. Having read the whole thread though it seems there's a lot of folks on here that do, but their great advice is falling on deaf ears. :/

I'm not altogether clear if he's teasing us or we're teasing him! But it's been fun.

You don't have to write songs. The world doesn't want you to write songs. It would probably prefer it if you didn't. So write songs if you want to. Otherwise, please don't bore us with beefing about it. Go fishing instead.

Well someone on here has already suggested soundcloud and these 50,000 views will be on my soundcloud song. And my YT video.
Then, next year i'll be making cds, pressings ,pluggers etc.
And then, just like what Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart once said to Emperor Joseph II just after he completed 'The Marriage of Figaro'......THEY'LL ALL GO MAD FOR IT!

As someone who has been a progressive rock musician professionally (albeit in a small way), I do have to ask : where is your market research to back that up?
This year, I quite happily bunged some cash into a musician's kickstarter campaign to fund his album. I didn't know him from adam, but I like instrumental music. When I realised that I hadn't heard from him post-launch, his reply was 'I was wondering how to get in touch with you' as I'd made a mistake signing up. Now I _hope_ I stood out as being the one numpty out of a vast number, but the realist in me suspects that he remembers me because he knows most of the names on his new mailing list (especially the numpty that gets it wrong).
(It's damned fine guitar instrumental actually - if anyone's interested, look up Dave Brons)
You might want to check out some established prog rock acts and ask them what their earnings are like these days. It's been a decade since I was last working in that area and, after a lunch with an old 'name' mate a month or two back, I am gobsmacked at how little people are making - even established artists.
If you aren't prepared to throw a boatload of cash at this - and be prepared to lose it all - then PLEASE stop and do it for fun instead. Because the alternative is misery and abject poverty. And we wouldn't want that..

Guys, seriously, this is mild fun and I have been reading through this thread with a smile on my face... but it is a joke, isn't it?
I mean, you heard the 'demo', then read him describing himself as the next Mozart... it is a joke, it must!
It sounds as if it has been recorded on a home keyboard using two fingers over three chords generated by the auto-harmony preset. Surely!
But please, let's carry on being 'helpful', but let's add lots of these

IT WILL BE A SYNTH/GUITAR/MULTI INSTRUMENTAL ROCK COMPOSITION LIKE NOTHING EVER DONE BEFORE. IT WILL BE SOMETHING THAT WILL SHAKE THE VERY FOUNDATION OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY,SOMETHING THAT EVEN THE IMMORTAL COMPOSERS WOULD BE BLOWN AWAY WITH, SOMETHING THAT WILL REDEFINE MODERN MUSIC IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS.
SOMETHING THAT MIGHT EVEN CHANGE PEOPLE'S LIVES AND ATTITUDES OUTSIDE OF MUSIC TOO IN MANY DIFFERENT WAYS. SOMETHING THAT WILL BREATHE FIRE AND LIFE INTO THE VERY HEART OF EVERY LIVING MUSICIAN. SOMETHING THAT WILL INSPIRE,MOTIVATE,EDUCATE,INNOVATE,DRIVE,LIFT,RISE AND ENCOURAGE YOUNGSTERS TO EXPRESS THEMSELVES AFTER EXCELLING AS ARTISTS TO REACH HIGH LEVELS OF MUSICAL CERTIFICATION BEFORE WORKING ON PROJECTS OF THEIR OWN. EVERYONE WILL MASTER THEIR ART PROPERLY BEFORE BEING LIFTED TO GLORY.
AND SOMETHING THAT WILL CHANGE THE WORLD FOREVER.
TO THE REVOLUTION.

ODA TO MUSIC MAKING
I have bought
My first Mac
Got my Logic installed
Got the Ableton,
All the plugins
But for some f** reason
No music gets sold
Not a song, not a tune, nada, nichts
I spent all of my cash
On promotion, on likes
and on getting some cheerful comments
I was waiting that Ga-Ga
might drop me a line
But I couldn't get back
Any cent
Maybe all of those artists
Are randomly picked
So the crowd would run for new gear
Well I don't mind, I think I could participate
But I don't seem to get any near
Maybe I have no talent
That's possible too
Or I just have not
Found my style
Maybe I should instead
get a plumbing career,
play guitar in the evening
and smile
don't get fooled by the mags,
shiny stories and pics
you don't want to f** up all your life
get a decent degree and the wife and the kids
and donate your new Mac
To your wife
P.S Wrote it this morning, while commuting, train is a good environment for such things. This is my first one in English though.

A few lines could scan better, but I like it. Are you planning to write music and record it?

How can I go about doing this?
How much will it all cost?

Fun thread, and I'm not sure if it's some sort of British humor going on as parts of it are patently absurd. But the gist is that you can do all the production and distribution for relatively little money, apart from the physical store distribution. CDBaby costs a pittance and handles both distribution and cd duplication. More than decent artwork can be had for very little: just like musicians, good or even great talent is pretty common, and thus artist *compete* on price to get your custom; there's plenty of web platform set up for you to auction work and start a price war. For physical stores to want to stock your stuff, you need to be big-ish already - they don't have shelf space to waste, and don't have usually money to gamble. Don't waste your time, unless you're friends with a store manager - in which case by all means, have your cd placed out!
So from the moment you have the product (i.e. the mastered file), fifty dollars will go a long way for artwork and distribution, maybe two hundred that for a little run of cd with ok packaging (pointless tough: you won't have stores which want them - they are usually sold at gigs but I understand you don't do gigs).
As of marketing - it's a different story altogether. That's where the money goes, a torrent of it. To be serious, you're looking at serious costs - usually not in a range sustainable by a single person (unless you're big-big-league wealthy). In today's bombardment of media, exposure is the single most expensive item to purchase - and even that it's just a chance to get a chance of people liking what you do and decide to buy it. You pay for reach - not for actually likings (not to mention purchases).
Budget in the thousands of dollars for anything minimally relevant. Say 50K to keep a social media campaign for a some weeks. If you go TV ads, five times that might buy you one good slot on a good channel. Give or take. Say Rhianna makes an album, you'll start seen Universal ads popping everywhere. You will also see banners and tv ads and newspapers ads and radio etc. I don't consider the usual round of promotion appearing in popular shows etc since they're not always paid for in cash.
Also - keep in mind that nowadays the main product is no longer the recorded song, but generally a live show and (depending) the merchandise associated with the artist. Back in the times, you toured for promoting the record. Nowadays, the record is an excuse for touring. By deciding that you dont do gigs, you're basically placing yourself out of where the revenues are.
So that's it. Music (and art) is easy and cheap to produce, and easy and cheap to distribute over the internet. Massively expensive to market. That's why all this talk of doing gigs, trying to get stuff viral etc - it's cheap (albeit slow) ways to try and get reach. And to say, a million or ten millions clicks are not a bad reach - the challenge with internet clicks is that people's attention is most often somewhere else, so each interaction is far less valuable than, say, TV (where there's one screen and it's fully occupied by the ad).
This just scratches the surface, of course, but might give u an idea.

No, this isn't some kind of humour but, as many studio owners will tell you, Richard isn't alone in his approach and thinking.

Next week I'll be buying the Sontronics Aria mic with the SE reflection filter. Then,on the 21st ill be buying the Sontronics Mic Stand. And on the 4th of Feb, ill be buying downloading the Izotope Nectar software to perfect my vocal tracks.
'Out to Sea 2016' will see the start of the revolution next year. It will have a great organ track using the Hauptwerk virtual organ with Paramount 332 samples, EastWest choir for the Soprano , Alto, Tenor and bass wordbuilder vocal tracks with lyrics, an 'Eleanor Rigby' style string arrangement using Vienna Strings, and at sometime all will be recorded in 7.1 ready to be played in nightclubs nationwide.
It's all going to happen next year.

He meant "7/11". They play just one crap Beyoncé track on a loop and run a useful sideline as a convenience store.
