how do I edit the Arpigiator on supernova 2 rack?

Hello,

I'am trying edit the arpigiator on supernova2 rack, I have been thru the manaul,
but can not play back or save changes that I have made, it just defaults to the
same arp sound and pattern?

Can any one supply a simple step by step tutorial?

This is what I did, I'm try to re-create the Donna Summer 'I feel love sound'
using notes AAEG as an Arp mono Pattern?, I understand there is delay + effects to create this sound,but sort this out later.Just need to edit arp pattern, so tried the following:

1. looked at page 35 of maual

2. Selected programme which I wanted to use, and turn on the Arp.

3.Selected menu for arp and selected user pattern BANK U 001.

3. Selected sync paramter to 8, and fill parameter to off.

4. Went to gobal menu,selected memory protect to off.

5. Then went to menu to edit the step, note and vel values.Therefore as I'm
playing notes AAEG I changed the values accoringly by playing the notes which
the menu settings picked up automatically? I think thats whats suposed to happed
or I could turn the upper/lower knobs the edit accordingly.

6. I then pressed the write button, then selected the arp attern U001 but heard
no change?

any tips please

i did once try this myself but got nowhere either using the hardware , i just had a peak at the supernova 2's sounddiver adaptation and it really opens up the arp section and explains the presets and also user banks , that might be a better bet.I have a sn 2 here right now so i'll give it a go later ,

I have sounddiver, So I will give it a ago and see if itgives me any better options to edit.

Problem is that when I used soinddiver with the supernova2 any editing I do with in sound diver, I keep on hearing the same note/patch on the synth, it want change anything?

I have made shure that it recives/transmits sysex,write protection is off, and set to right midi channel.
