Kenton Pro Solo MK1 Freeze

I am trying to use pro tools 8 as a sequencer for my Korg Mono/Poly synth. With a kenton mk1 as an midi to CV converter it seemed pretty straight forward.

Unfortunately the kenton keeps freezing randomly on a low CV note, once I start playing a midi sequence out of my digidesign 003 interface! The LED showing received midi packets also remains on permanently, and the only way to stop it is change the midi channel, or turn of the Kenton.

I have not seen anyone on any forum with this peculiar problem. Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong?

Need more tests, more info.
Is it just this particular midi sequence that's causing the problem? Is there any other midi gear attached? Midi loops or failed note-off events could cause these problems.
Are you sending heaps of pitch bend or other data or is it just note events? Does hooking up a midi keyboard directly to the pro solo triggers the mono-poly?

You see where I'm going - is it a midi fault per se, or a midi reception fault with the pro-solo, or an actual technical fault...?

Interesting. I find this happens in Pro Tools 7.x to any monophonic synth, be it a plugin or controlled by the Kenton.

Yeah sorry I am being a bit unspecific! It seems to work fine if I just use my Fatar SL-161 keyboard direct into the kenton.

The freezing only seems to happen when I am outputting midi information from my pro tools 003 interface, so I'm pretty sure it's the midi output from 003 interface into the kenton.

The other midi gear attached is a Fatar SL-161, which is just going into the midi in of the digidesign 003. Also there is also a behringer bf2000 midi controller running through USB drivers.
