RODE NT1 problems

Post by neonknight »

Hi all,
my mic has been showing level inconsistencies while recording, ranging from normal signal to very quiet. I think this culd be a mechanical failure. Do you think it's worth fixing it and who would you recommend for this kind of job? Do you think my local dealer where I bought it could send it to RODE representatives for Benelux? Thanks!

rode have a 10 year warranty so i would contact where you bought it. alternatively, i often find contacting the maker or uk distributor far easier with warranty claims in the main - ask nicely and they usually pay your carriage, especially smallish items.

I have sent a Rode microphone back in the past. I exchanged a couple of emails with the UK distributer, sent it over and it was back with me in less than a week. Great customer service.
