The ADVC300 looks amazing for transferring my many old vcr tapes that I've been aching to toss. BUT - it's 16 bit!! In this day and age, c'mon! I have video tapes that vary all over the place a.f.a. recording levels (Don't blame me - source materials vary and plenty were not even made by me) and would really appreciate the ability to set a good level and walk away. 16 bit just does not cut it for those purposes. AAARGH !!!!
