Hi
Is it possible to attach a t bar to a speaker stand or sub pole AND still use the speaker tops? I've seen these O ring clamps but they're only good for one light. I guess what I'm after is a mounting bracket incorporating a pass-through hole for the speaker stand but enabling it to be clamped thus holding the t bar. Is such a product available? Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't as it would affect sales of lighting stands......an opportunity for someone nevertheless?

Depends on the stand, while I would not hesitate to do something involving a boom arm or two on a Doughty heavy duty stand with a load of weights on the base, doing the same on something lightweight could be a very bad idea.
Check the loading numbers for the stands you are using, then whistle appropriate bits up from Doughty or someone similar.
Regards, Dan.

Audiophiles use phono leads because they are unbalanced people!

Thanks Dan
My speaker stands are K&M's with ring locks. Do I understand correctly that instead of a T bar I should try attaching a boom to the stand? If so, how would this be fitted? In the meantime I'll look at the Doughty site you recommeneded.
