cheap-software-megastore.com - for real?

Post by Pangloss »

I found this site by accident and I can't tell how legit it is. Has anyone used it?

I have seen a few "OEM" music software titles going very cheap - so cheap I'm wary (if it looks too good...)

Apparently, the serial numbers for downloaded software is attached in a txt file. But if I email this number off in attempt to register my software will I be asked to sit back and wait for the rozzas?

I would be interested to know if anyone has used them.

Thanks.

I'm not sure but there is a maximum total cart price of $250. Does that make it weird?!

As a Rule of thumb ;-
If you can't find a proper address and telephone number - it's a rip off.

It's a Russian site the software is NOT leggit, personaly I wouldn't touch it with a mic boom.

I reckon half this forum would have front row seats for Waves vs. The Russian Mafia.

It's funny - every time I see these things, even though my head knows the score there's this little hopeful voice inside saying, "maybe it's true..."

Indeed, but first of all, you need to find out where he lives/operates from.
Next you need to find someone who is prepared (and has the jurisdiction) to arrest him.

Pangloss,

Am probably one of the relatively few people that have been to Belarus (long story!) and I think they only arrest people for saying anything about the government!

But I left a restaurant, which I have been to several times before that week and spent a lots of gloshies. On this occasion I had given the wrong money - I hadn't tried anything on, a simple pure mistake, in fact I even thought I was leaving a tip! But not realising I was a few gloshies I paid and walked out of the restaurant. Then was pulled up by the waiter - nothing wrong with that, but by his side were two very very big leather jacketed gorillas who were either packing heat or just happened to put their hands in their inside pockets to show me photos of their family.

I the law in belarus is there is no law, so the authorities prosecuting Boris is hardly likely to happen.

On the other hand, at one time I worked alongside a Russian programmer, and his skills were typical of people from the former Eastern bloc - wrote tight lean code that occupied only about 30% of what our bloated code needed, because they had worked on such antiquated hardware

Then we should get all programs written in Eastern Europe - I am fed up with bloated software that makes faster and faster computers go slower and slower. :madas::protest:

Eh?
That's the wrong site sx.

I get this:

Incidently, my "McAfee Site Avisor" came up with a red banner when I visited this site - "feedback from credible users indicates an overall concern with shopping at this site".
