Will Wavelab 6 run on a Win 7 64 bit computer ?
Will Wavelab 6 run on a Win 7 64 bit computer ?
It might sound like an archaic question...but I'm very happy with Wavelab 6, hate Wavelab 7 and can't yet justify moving to Wavelab 8. I'll be upgrading from XP 32 bit to a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit laptop soon, can I expect to run my 32 bit Wavelab 6 on it without problems (is anyone here doing this already ?) Cheers for your feedback and advice

It does on mine! (Win 7 Pro, 4,2GHz quad-core, 16Gb RAM), so hopefully you'll be OK.

+1 'unnoficial' tends nowadays to mean that if you run into problems the company won't help you sort it out

Thanks Martin,
Yes that's the usual company disclaimer relating to 'obsolete' OS's and/or software. Believe me, this forum would be my first port of call for reliable, fast advice before I'd dock my ship in the Steinberg help/support harbour

Not with Steinberg, generally if a piece of software isn't compatible with an OS then it isn't listed on the compatibility chart. But occasionally they have this category of 'unofficially compatible', and the situation then is as Martin says, it seems to work with the OS but they won't provide support for it in the case of problems.
