as the title says...
after I load a previously saved project in my DAW and I go to the track which has Sylenth 1 VST on it,...
I see the preset in use,... but I DON'T see the soundbank that that preset belongs to.
If I want to write down that preset path , to memorise it, how can I do it ?
(and exporting the bank or preset isn't a desired answer , no sense in doubling the preset on my HDD if it's already present) - there has to be a way to tell which soundbank is loaded !
I searched and searched and no tutorial shows this; it isn't specified in the Sylenth 1 manual either.

Does this help at all?

Lots of people seem to be having similar problems with presets not loading or losing soundbanks.

It it doesn't indicate which bank is loaded, or display it anywhere, or preserve the name on a save/export operation, then you're probably out of luck.
You could do a manual spreadsheet/etc of which sounds are in which bank (so you can look them up if necessary), or export them individually to your host to stop using banks at all if it supports that...

Thank you for your input robiny,.. but it didn't help; I already knew what was stated there.

Thanks for the idea, desmond; I might take it into consideration and apply it if I can't find a workaround.

Sorry if obvious, but your DAW will memorise it for you, when you save your song.
Of course, there may be other situations, like making a new song where you want to include the same sound.
