Hi guys,
We are writing for our second EP at the moment and we are interested in working with a producer to knock our songs, arrangements, performances, and erm, production into shape.
I was wondering if in our modern online age there are producers (perhaps with a real track record) who work with lower budget indie rock band projects online?
It would have to be remote as we are based in South Korea and not very interested in working with a local producer. We have lightning speed internet here and have successfully worked remotely through Skype, iPhone Facetime, Facebook chats, and emails before.
When we did our last album the banjo player was based in Ontario Canada, the mix engineer was in Colorado USA, and the Mastering engineer was in Boston, USA. It all worked well.
Any advice, links, or names you think would be worth pursuing? Or is a producer role something that can't be done remotely?
Cheers,
Tony

This is what I do and I specialise in rock. There are some aspects of a production role that are obvious more of a challenge over distance, but it can (and does, usually) work well with a little experience and background.
PM me if you're interested and we can discuss details - including my track record!
