Strange issue w Waves and Logic Pro X (2 plugins are not appearing)

I am having a strange issue with 2 Waves plugins for Logic Pro X. I own 10 Waves plugins. However, for some reason, 2 of them refuse to appear in LPX: Center and UltraPitch. The other 8 (api 2500, CLA Bass, One Knob Louder, Kramer HLS/Master Tape/PiE, NLS and another I cannot recall right now) all load fine and are visible under Audio Units/Waves.

Any thoughts on why this is happening?

Plugins are only visible if they support the track format you are trying to load them on.

Some plugins may, for instance, only come as a mono version - thus, if you look at the plugin list on a stereo track, they will not be visible. Same with plugins that are stereo if you try to load them on a mono track.

Some come as a different type entirely, such as "MIDI Controlled FX" or "AU Generators" and so they will be displayed in that plugin menu, not the regular audio plugins menu.

You can also load Logic's AU manager to make sure those plugins are displayed in the AU manager - if they are, and they are validated, they are working ok.

So - try changing the track type from mono to stereo, or vice versa, and see if they are available then, try looking in the other plugin menus, and check they are validated and available to Logic under the AU manager window.

You are 100% correct, sir. For some reason Center was not validated and UltraPitch ran fine on a mono track. Got Center validated and now all is well.
