SPDIF IO card for Windows 10

Post by twotoedsloth »

Greetings,

I know I just posted about a Windows 10 driver for an Echo Mia MIDI. In the event that it doesn't work in Windows 10, can someone recommend a sound card, USB or PCI/PCIe, that runs well in Windows 10 and has SPDIF in and out.

Please let me know your thoughts,

Peter

RME AIO for PCIe. £400-ish.

Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately the RME AIO is $1249 here in Canada, and out of my price range.

I was hoping for something like the M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 or the Echo Mia MIDI like I already have, and similarly priced. Ideally less than $500 CAD. It doesn't even need to do 24/96, 44.1 at 24 bits is just fine.

Sorry for shooting you down, my fault for not being more specific.

Thanks everyone who read this thread and thought about responding. My crisis is averted, as my Mia MIDI installed easily in Windows 10. It worked flawlessly for a 15 minute 1khz sine wave playing back and recording in Vegas routed through an AES/EBU port on a Yamaha DM1000.

Best regards!
