Hey guys, what is the best way to pass cable through isolated walls? without destroying too much of the isolation effect.
I found this: http://www.asc-studio-acoustics.com/pro ... pass-thru/
but it looks kind of expensive to me. Because I'm not sure how many cables I'll need (they can very by the time) I need something similar.
Thanks!

Holes in walls, screw-on heavy panels on each side, with foam or similar to seal the edges and around the cables. Some pass throughs also use bags of dry sand stuffed in the holes on each side to add mass and improve the isolation. And make sure the cables have some slack between the walls.

My holes are behind skirting boards or dado rails which are mounted away from the plasterboard wall (the whole studio is lined with fabric panels). I've used 2" diameter pipe and stuffed any spare space with Rockwool or foam.
