How do I connect active monitor to Behringer PA?

Post by ptate »

Very simple answers please.......... :?:D:?

How do I connect my Mackie SRM350 active monitor to my Behringer PMP530M for stage use (so the drummer can hear the mix). It's my son's band, so guitar, bass, drums and 2 vox. It's a small gig set up.

I usually use two 12 inch piggybacked 8ohm cabs to give the 4ohm Behringer specified output, but don't want to destroy the mixer by adding the Mackie incorrectly.

Just want a really simple drawing or explanation please.....!

Peace

Use aux or record out and then r and l input. Gain on line in.

Give it a try.

That's about the only way, (and use rec not aux as aux is an input on the Berry). You could only do harm if you tried to plug the speaker outputs into the Mackie so don't do that, otherwise feel free to experiment.

People often mistake me for a grown-up because of my age.
