Has anyone managed to create that warping/ramping type of vocal effect using alchemy?
I'm looking to do a sort of neo turning to metal effect from the matrix

Guessing this should have been posted in the keyboards and synthesis area.
Any chance a mod could move it?

I haven't tried, no.
You might have more luck with the old-school sampler timetretching (eg Akai S1000) though for that really, grungy, metallic stretching effect. I'm sure the Hollywood version was more sound-designed than that, though...

Yup.. Alchemy as a vocal processor is mindblowing..
Not sure exactly what you mean by (warping/ramping) but you can do really crazy things by importing the audio files into different engines such as the spectral or granular engines.. The granular one can be particularly effective by manipulating the the play point with a modulator such as a sequencer..
