Looking for music mixes to practice mastering

Post by JPettittAudio »

Hello,

I’m an audio engineering student in my 3rd year of uni, and I’m looking for unmastered stereo mixes to master as part of my degree, and to boost my portfolio. I will master music of any genre completely for free, using the facilities at Futureworks university, and with guidance from an experienced mastering engineer as my course tutor.

I’ve worked professionally in live music and film production audio, and I’m keen to develop my skills across the audio industries.

If you’re interested, drop me an email at jpettitt.audio@gmail.com for more details.

Cheers,
Jamie

Thanks for offering this Jamie, and welcome to the forums!

I don't currently have any need for mastering services but as you are looking for material to experiment/try out stuff with I would like to help out if I can. I have a number of tracks in my back-catalogue which you're welcome to have a crack at.

I've sent you a mail to the address you provided, so if nobody else actually has real need of it then feel free to get back to me for one or two 'no pressure, no expectations' stereo masters to work with

Thanks for the reminder Eddy, meant to reply at the weekend...

Thanks for the offer Jamie, and welcome to the forums. I'm in the same boat as Eddy with nothing needing mastering at the moment, but happy to provide stereos or stems if that would be of use.

I've not updated those in a while, but they're a good selection to be getting on with...

Besides, if you head down to kompoz, there's plenty people needing some mastering.
